The Community Youth Awards is a special and important occasion when the Youth Line recognizes the outstanding contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit and queer youth and youth services that are making a difference throughout the province of Ontario. It provides a rare opportunity to honour and appreciate the young people doing remarkable work for the betterment of our communities. Whether youth are involved in community development in North Bay, social justice activism in Windsor or creating queer visibility in Owen Sound, each award recipient has made outstanding accomplishments in their respective fields and communities. This annual award ceremony is dedicated to encouraging fabulous youth members of our community to keep doing the great work that they are doing!
