The Youth Line would not function without our peer support volunteers. These youth deliver our core services, and give generously of their time in support of Ontario’s LGBT youth. Our service is open from 4pm to 9:30pm from Sunday to Friday.
Our service is timed to meet the needs of those who are reaching out, and as a result our volunteers give us their time over the dinner hour. Most of our volunteers come directly from school or work. The Youth Line is determined to provide our volunteers with nutritious and delicious snacks and treats to tide them over till they get home. Feeding our volunteers is another way you can show your support for our youth, and the work they do. If you are unable to give a financial contribution but love to bake, cook, or are able to offer snacks, please consider nourishing the volunteers behind the scenes at the Youth Line.
