The Youth Line maintains a database of referral resources for LGBT youth in Ontario. We list services and supports that are LGBT-specific, or that have made strides toward being LGBT-positive in the ways they receive and respond to the needs of individuals in our community.
If you are a provider of services to LGBT youth and would like to add your information to our database, please send your information to outreach@youthline.ca
Tips for searching our database:
- Only use the 'Name' search box if you know the exact name of the service/organization/place you're looking for, otherwise leave it blank.
- If you don't live in a 'city' don't worry- we've got listings for towns and regions as well. Just enter the name of where you live into the 'city' box.
- Use broad search words. Example: If you're looking for a queer women's writing group, search 'group' or 'women' in the 'keyword' box and enter the city you're looking for a service in into the 'city' box.
- If your search turns up no results, try again leaving the 'keyword' box empty and just the name of your town/city/region in the 'city' box. If nothing turns up even when you do that, it means we don't know of any services in your area. You can try searching for a nearby area you can travel to or you can call/IM us..
