Destiny has been working on a zine within the Brantford, Brant, Six Nations, and Mississaugas of Credit First Nation communities. The Zine’s theme is based on the original Pride Flag colors and their meanings. This project asked 2SLGBTQ+ youth from these communities to interpret these colours and submit a visual arts piece. At this time, submissions are no longer being accepted. We would like to thank everyone for their participation and hope to share the zine with the Brantford, Brant, Six Nations, and Mississaugas of Credit First Nation communities in the near future! Stay tuned to YouthLine’s social media for updates!

Malek is currently running a Black-only online space to foster connections between Black 2SLGBTQ+ youth in Ontario, and share artistic and educational resources. This series of workshops/sessions aims to engage Black 2SLGBTQ+ youth in the critical analysis of media (e.g. TV shows, books, poems, etc.), as well as participate in fun recreational activities. The group is currently at capacity and is not accepting any additional participants.
