Across Boundaries provides equitable and holistic mental health and addictions services and supports for racialized communities within frameworks of anti-racism, combating anti-blackness and anti-oppression. We recognize the urgent need for mental health support services and services for those who are 2SLGBTQ+ and who identify as QTBIPOC (Queer & Trans Black, Indigenous, and Person of Colour).
Across Boundaries provides community-based and in-house programs that integrate individual support, support groups, alternative and complementary therapies, skills building, social and recreational activities. Gender Affirming Care is a compassionate, comprehensive approach to healthcare that supports the physical, mental, and social well-being of transgender and gender-diverse individuals. Through our collaboration NorWest CHC and Foria Clinic, we offer both in-person and virtual care options, ensuring accessible, personalized support for all your healthcare needs.

- Emphasize finding joy and discuss skills and strategies for managing gender dissonance, overcoming transition challenges, and maintaining mental health
- Provide reliable, up-to-date education and information about gender identity and expression

- Provide space to find emotional support regarding gender identity and share possibilities for fostering community and connection

HIV/AIDS, Hep C and Harm Reduction services. Our mission is to assist and support all people infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C and to limit the spread of the viruses through education, outreach and treatment strategies. We service North Bay and area (from Moosonee to Parry Sound).
We provide:
– Counselling and support groups to discuss any concerns related to HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis C
– Needle exchange
– Harm reduction programs
– Health kits, consultation, and vaccinations
– Education and referral to other programs as needed

Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP)
ASAAP is committed to providing culturally responsive holistic health promotion and support services for people from South Asian and other related communities who are living with, at risk of, or affected by HIV and related health conditions.
Our programs and services are delivered in culturally appropriate ways while simultaneously challenging the discomfort many have in talking about sexuality and sexual health. We acknowledge the many social determinants of health and our work often overlaps with issues of racism, gender equity, housing, violence, mental health and employment. We are always learning, growing and building stronger partnerships with organizations and people.

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Sudbury/Manitoulin branch is mandated to provide services to individuals with mental health issues or a diagnosis of a mental illness (though it is not required) within the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts. Our mission is to provide services that promote recovery for all and mental health education. We believe in helping people regain a meaningful role in their community.
