Investigaytors is a community-based free volunteer training program for young 18- to 29-year-old gay, bi, trans, queer men or Two-Spirit or non-binary (GBT2Q) people in Ontario that will allow you to discover the queer world of gay men’s health research in a cohort of like-minded people. You will develop skills and research experience by doing and thinking about everyday queer health, and it will change the way you view our communities’ health and wellbeing!

Program participants are trained in quantitative and qualitative research skills, social determinants of health, HIV prevention and sexual health, and how research can be used to address health inequities and knowledge gaps.

We have an array of services from STBBI health interventions to mental health support groups (Queer Minds) as well as one to one support offered (Chai n Chat), check out https://www.rainbowsalad.ca/events/ for more information on services available.

The Health Centre offers Trans and Non-Binary Health Services. We also offer services like Anonymous HIV testing and the MyCare HIV treatment program. The Youth Outreach Worker team also serves a diverse population including youth who may identify and 2SLGBTQIA+ and can help connect clients to these programs and others.

There are also system navigation supports, and many different health related programs and groups that you can participate in.

Men4Men aims to enhance the lives of gay, bisexual, queer and other men who have sex with men by reinforcing self-esteem and personal empowerment through sexual health education and resources. Beginning in 2010, we have provided a number of services in Hamilton, Halton, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk. Through the delivery of tailored and targeted health promotion we hope to engage the community in person and online in spaces that hold meaning for us as a community. We continue to expand throughout our region. Volunteers are always welcome. Some of our services include:

Men4Men Clinic

The Men4Men Clinic is a partnership with Hamilton Public Health Services that provides free sexual health services to Hamilton’s diverse communities of gay, bisexual, queer and other men who have sex with men, whether they are cis or trans. We run a monthly full-service sexual health clinic at Positive Health Network on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:00pm-8:00pm, and provide rapid anonymous HIV testing in various outreach venues such as bathhouses, bars, campgrounds and special events.

The Ontario Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Strategy aims to provide culturally respectful and sensitive programs and strategies to respond to the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic among Aboriginal Peoples in Ontario, through promotion, prevention, long-term care, treatment and support initiatives consistent with harm reduction principles.

No name and no health card. All that is linked to you is your year of birth and a six digit testing number. We are one of 50 anonymous testing services in Ontario, but the only one in London, operating multiple testing sites across the city. We will respond to you Monday to Friday within 24 hours.

Many people getting tested will receive a rapid test that provides 99.97% accurate results in 20 minutes. Others receive a traditional blood-draw test and get their results within a week.

Although anyone can become HIV positive, communities who are at increased risk of contracting HIV/AIDS in Ontario include;

• Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men, cis and trans
• Ontarians from Africa and the Caribbean
• Indigenous populations
• People who inject drugs
• Women (trans and cis) who engage in high-risk activities

The AIDS Network is a registered charitable organization that offers services and education to people living in the communities of Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand, Norfolk, and Brant.

We are a community-based organization made up of dedicated, caring, committed individuals. Staff and volunteers alike provide support, education, and advocacy in a safe and confidential environment for HIV-positive individuals, their families, and their friends.

In 1987, we started the AIDS Committee of Niagara. We were an advisory committee to the Niagara Regional Public Health Service’s AIDS Program. We evolved from a committee to a not-for-profit, community-based AIDS service organization (ASO).

Positive Youth Outreach (PYO) is a peer support program for young people (ages 16-29) living with HIV. It is coordinated by poz youth, for poz youth. The program includes weekly group programming, which includes workshops, social events, and leadership opportunities, as well as 1:1 peer support around issues such as sexual health, HIV status disclosure, navigating health and social assistance systems, and more.
