TRANScendTO is back for another year!

LGBT YouthLine is once again partnering with the City of Toronto and the Toronto Kiki Ballroom Alliance on a day-long gathering for 2-Spirit, trans, and non-binary youth. 

Date: Thursday, June 25th, 2026

Time: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM , doors open at 12 PM

Venue: downtown Toronto - the exact location will be shared with registered participants in advance and released publicly a few days before the event for those who would like to drop in

What’s in store?

This is your space to explore, express, and celebrate your identity. Whether you're looking to learn something new, make connections, or just be in community, TRANScendTO is for you!

• Engaging Workshops and Meeting Spaces: Build skills, find support, and connect with others
• Community Resources Fair: Meet health organizations, 2SLGBTQ+ programs, and community groups from across the city, and get gender-affirming services for free!
• Free Food: Because no one should learn, grow, or dance on an empty stomach!
• Kiki Ball: Close out the day with a ballroom event – walk the runway, watch, or cheer!

Kiki Balls are an important part of queer history! They started in the US with queer and trans Black and Latino folks, and modern Balls still follow many of the traditions laid down decades ago. Check out Toronto Kiki Ballroom Alliance here: https://www.tkba.ca/
