Ottawa Junior Roller Derby
Ottawa Junior Roller Derby (OJRD) is a non-profit, all-genders youth league (ages 9–17) providing a fun, competitive, and inclusive environment for young athletes to build athletic skills and self-confidence. Roller derby has long been a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, and OJRD carries that legacy forward by offering a safe sporting space for queer and trans youth, supported by LGBTQ+ adult mentors and coaches. No prior skating experience needed! We welcome youth of all identities to train, skate, and grow together in a community where everyone has a place on the track.
Hours
The OJRD season runs from October until June, with practices typically held on Saturday afternoons on the Carleton University campus (subject to change).
