The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre is a not-for-profit organization that provides health and social services to communities in far west Ottawa.

Short-Term Counselling, Crisis Walk-in and Phone Support
The WOCRC provides short-term counselling services (6-8 sessions), crisis walk-in, phone support, and information and referrals to all members of our diverse community. The areas we serve include: Kanata, West Carleton and Goulbourn.

During the hours below, our counsellors will be available by telephone for crisis calls, scheduling appointments, and general inquiries:
Wednesday: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Counsellors will also be available for in-person crisis walk-ins if you feel you are in crisis you can come to the centre. For more information or to schedule an appointment please call 613-591-3686 and ask to speak to a counsellor.

Gender Based Violence Program
The GBV Program provides support to self-identified women or gender-diverse individuals and their dependents who identify themselves as having been sexually, physically or emotionally abused by their partners or significant others (could include a caregiver or other immediate family/household member). Supports include individual and group counselling, as well as transitional and housing support.
