LGBT Youth Line’s 2018 AGM

Please join LGBT Youth Line for our Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

The AGM is our annual event dedicated to reviewing the past year at Youth Line, and outlining plans for the following year. It is also the time when all community members can participate in the process of determining what Youth Line represents and what Youth Line does – for example, by voting to elect members to the Board of Directors, and on updates to the organizational bylaws.
Everyone is welcome to join us! We also encourage those who plan on attending to sign up for their annual Youth Line membership*, which entitles them to participate in the AGM as a voting member (please see below for information on membership)

Date/Time: Thursday September 20, 2018, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Location: 2nd Floor Great Room, Sherbourne Health Centre (333 Sherbourne Street, Toronto)

Evening Roll-out:
6:30 – 7:00 : Registration, socialization and dinner
7:00 – 8:00 pm: Annual General Meeting

– ASL interpretation available on request (please email board@youthline.ca if you require ASL interpretation by September 5th)

*Membership Details –
Entitlements – Your annual membership in Youth Line entitles you to vote on motions at the AGM, such as ratification of new board members, updates to the bylaws, and the financial statements.
Eligibility – Everyone is eligible for Youth Line membership, under one of two membership streams. Class A members must identify as trans, queer, and/or two-spirit and be aged 29 or under. Class B members include anyone who does not qualify for Class A membership.
Fees –
Class A membership: no fee
Class B membership: $40 (this fee is waived for those who have donated $40 or more in the past year or have been a volunteer in the past year)
