The Studio, Lumenus

The Studio is an inclusive, youth-driven drop-in centre that openly celebrates 2SLGBTQ+ youth and youth of colour. It is a safe place for all youth to express themselves, build community, access one-on-one support and have fun!

At the Studio, youth can drop in to hang out, play video games, watch movies, record music and make beats in the music program and much more. Youth work alongside staff to create and define activities and workshops like art making, dance, gender expression/drag performance, sexual health workshops, discussion groups, field trips, Tweeny Stars and more. This is a space where the diverse experiences of youth is celebrated, where everyone is free to be themselves, and where community building and allyship is encouraged.

The Studio staff also provide one-on-one support in housing, physical and mental health, education, employment, and legal matters. All services of the Central Toronto Youth Wellness Hub can be accessed.
