The International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT), which falls on the 17th of May of every year, is a global advocacy event for taking action against hate and amplifying the visibility of LGBTQ2S people. This year’s IDAHOT focuses on how Love Makes a Family in recognition of the importance of families in our lives.

Youth Line shares a deep commitment to making resources accessible to LGBTQ2SA young people as well as their families because we know that we’re stronger when we’re connected to the people around us. However, figuring out how we fit in can be complicated. This is why we are asking you to:

  • Tell someone you know about Youth Line- you never know who might need us! If you’d like outreach materials, look here
  • Reach out to a young person and remind them that they are not alone. Give them support and  affirmation, or perhaps some Youth Line swag?
  • Support Youth Line by following these steps
