Somatic Practices for Finding your Power with Ronnie

“When we feel, we heal.”

This workshop will give participants a basic understanding of trauma theory, an introduction to somatic approaches to healing and recovery, and an opportunity to practice skills from an embodied position.

Boundaries: Edges, Limits, and Possibilities with Ronnie

Boundaries tell the people around us, “This is the distance I need in order to feel safe enough to connect.” This workshop explores boundaries from the perspective that boundaries are relationship-preservers rather than relationship-enders.

Active Listening

Both the BIPOC and the Trans and Gender Diverse Group will participate in an active listening workshop, which will focus on hands-on tips & tricks of active listening, based on LGBT YouthLine’s very own Active Listening 101 training!

There will be space to practice skills including reflection, validation, and asking questions.
