PEER SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS
Applications to be a peer support volunteer are open until August 31st at noon. If you have any questions, please e-mail volunteer@youthline.ca.
Peer Support Volunteers are the folks on the other end of the line. They take calls, chats, and texts from Ontario’s 2SLGBTQ youth. They do this Sunday-Friday, 4:00-9:30 PM.
Volunteering means:
- Being part of one of the largest 2SLGBTQ youth organizations in the province
- Experiencing a fun and challenging 12 week training that focuses on anti-racism and anti-oppression frameworks
- Hanging out in a community of other 2SLGBTQ youth
- Receiving food and TTC tokens
