We’re hiring a full time Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator.

Under the direction of the Executive Director (ED), the Community Engagement and Communications Coordinator will lead the organization’s overall communications and outreach activities to strengthen our visibility and presence across Ontario. The Coordinator will work closely with the ED to identify, build and strengthen relationships with various stakeholders, partners and media. They will also work with the ED and Fundraising Committee to expand and strengthen the organizations resources, with a focus on individual donors and third party events.

The ideal candidate is a demonstrated self-starter with ability to identify and pursue strategic opportunities, while centering Youth Line’s (YL) Values. They must have an aptitude for collaboration and mutual growth and are a fast learner. The individual has a strong understanding and ability to communicate issues and challenges facing 2SLGBTQ youth across Ontario. The individual enjoys taking on varied roles and tasks, and is able to effectively manage and prioritize their work. The candidate has a personal and professional commitment to anti-oppression, anti-racism, and accessibility.

Compensation:

$40,000 per year plus health benefits (after 3 month probation is completed)
