TransTrade Peel

This program is a Clothing Exchange is open to all genders/gender identities and sexuality though priority is given to Trans, Gender Diverse and GRSM Communities. The goal for TransTrade Peel is to give trans and non-binary folx the chance to be comfortable in their own bodies and clothes.

To stay up to date about when our next clothing exchange is, follow on social media or check the website.

Many Trans, Gender Diverse and GRSM folx are marginalized and low or no income, for those purchasing clothing and accessories that match their gender identity or true-self is out of their financial situations.

Triangle Program

The Triangle Program hosts wonderful LGBTQ2+ youth who are in need of a smaller and safer space where they can find and build community. We strive to reflect our students’ experiences in an LGBTQ2+ and social justice-focused curriculum. We offer caring and flexible supports to help our students earn their high school diploma.

We are a high school program under the Toronto District School Board. We offer a lunch program, social worker supports, and free supplies and field trips.

York Pride

York Pride organizes year-round events as well as one of Canada’s fastest growing regional Pride Week Festivals, staged each June to celebrate Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) residents throughout York Region, Ontario. York Pride is run exclusively by a team of dedicated volunteers and representatives from local community organizations.
Our mission is: to organize festivals, events, entertainments and other initiatives which, in the context of sexuality and gender identity, across York Region and beyond, illuminate and celebrate human diversity, captivate the general public, inspire inclusivity and foster harmony and acceptance.

YRGSA North

YRGSA North is the next generation drop-in space for LGBTQ2S youth and their allies in the north of York Region. YRGSA is an abbreviation for: York Region Gay-Straight Alliance.

We offer a dynamic way for teens and young adults to socially interact and build meaningful relationships while learning how to navigate resources within the community, access peer to peer support, or to kick back and relax in a welcoming open space.

With ever-expanding programming our monthly meetings, special events and excursions are definitely not to be missed!
