Join team members and supporters, past and present, in an intergenerational celebration of LGBT YouthLine’s 30 years, and a reflection on 2SLGBTQ+ organizing. There will be a Q&A after the panel discussion as well as time for mingling.

Tickets are by pay-what-you-can donation, including a free-option. We recognize that many 2SLGBTQ+ people of all ages are working-class and low-income, and encourage you to give according to your means, or to take the free option if you need it. You can also select a combo of tickets.

Meet the Panelists:
Katrina Moffit-Pleasance (Moderator)
Katrina is a they/them reconnecting Indigenous youth who works as the Northern, Rural, Remote and Indigenous Outreach and Engagement Specialist at LGBT YouthLine. They enjoy hanging out with their pets and viewing Indigenous art in their spare time.
Sophie Kuhn
Sophie Kuhn (she/they) is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. They hold both a HBSW and MSW from Lakehead University and have a background in facilitating and coordinating peer support groups, developing community capacity, and conducting research towards understanding the impacts of peer support on Queer youth in Northern Ontario.
Avery Bois
Aanii! My name is Avery, and I am a student in the Indigenous Social Work program at Cambrian College. I have a passion for my culture as well as for helping others. I am a proud two-spirit individual, an artist, and an advocate.
Alexia Cotton
Aankobijiget Amik ndigoo, amik ndoodem, niizh-mnidoowag ndao. Québec ndoonjiba, N’Swakamok ndoonjii. My name is Alexie, I’m a part of the beaver clan, and I’m two-spirit. I’ve returned to school to study Indigenous social service work at Cambrian College. I currently serve as E-Niigaanzid (Leader) for Cambrian’s Indigenous Student Circle, where I advocate for Indigenous students and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
